Im the same way, I dont completely deprive myself, if I want something Ill have it but I just watch the portions and try not to over do it on anything.

I've been watching my calories which mostly has implied changing what I ate or eating it in a smaller size. 3 days after I had my son I weighted 208 and almost 9 weeks pp I am down to 160lbs.

I met with a nutritionist/body builder (right before I found out I was pregnant with #2   Perfect timing right? haha) and he said the big thing is eating HEALTHY and eating small meals throughout the day. I have been eating healthy and eat about 4-5 small meals a day and I haven't gained any weight even though I stopped working out hardcore like I used to. Your metabolism goes up when you keep eating small, frequent meals and you feel so much more energized. It's helped me keep the morning sickness at bay and I'm not sleeping all the time like I was with my son.

Portions are also key. Americans have no idea what portions are, it's ridiculous. When I first came to Japan, I thought their portions were way too tiny and not enough to fill a child up but I was so wrong. I order from the kids menu if I eat on base now.

Exactly! Smaller meals are KEY. At least 5-6 a day. It keeps the metabolism going throughout the day.

Both but, working out has always been the best form of losing weight for me. You burn more calories and I notice when I am eating healthy I am able to maintain my current weight but the weight loss can be slow when compared to working out.
