Smoking while pregnant...

I just have to vent..
Anybody who smokes around kids or while pregnant is a pathetic, ignorant, selfish piece of shit. Like my sister. When her first son was born at 30 weeks at 3lbs or so she asked, "Why did he come prematurely?" to the NICU dr. I said sarcastically, "Maybe it's because you smoked heavily your entire pregnancy". Her son is now three and doesn't talk yet. She's pregnant again and STILL smoking. The dumb bitch was too stupid to learn the lesson the first time.

She is due 2 weeks before my singleton due date, but since I am having twins we might actually be in labor around the same time. Except for the fact she's a fucking chimney and probably will deliver early again.
GRRR.

I quit smoking and personally I dont agree with smoking during pregnancy... But my cousin smoked through out her whole pregnancy and her daughter was carried to term and totally healthy!

I have also heard that some Drs will tell you to quit if you can, but if its too stressful just try to cut back because the stress is actually worse on the baby then the smoke.

yea i think that would be a stupid choice!! since her first baby had problems!! when i found out i was prego 4wks along i quit smoking the first week i cut down to 3to 4 half cigaratees then to none at all and im 16 along and havent touched one since!!

Yea they annoying the hell outta me as well, I just found out over the weekend that my brothers, girlfreind is still smoking and smoking pot aswelland she is due 4 weeks after I am. I was so pissed I dont think I can ever look at her the same way.
I feel so bad for my baby nephew and all the problems he will have due to her selfishness.

My Dr. told me that very thing..He said that stress was worse for the baby than smoking...
