Yes, the main thing they worry about is that cows milk does not have the vitamins that breast & formula have.

plus one time, we were at red lobster and realized we didnt have diapers and bump pooped a little rock turd in her diaper. anyway, i just dumped it in the toilet and put the diaper back on.   thankfully we were already payin our check but.... oh well. she lived!

ok that link made me feel TONS better. It isn't a regular thing at all (first time in fact) but I know that cow's milk isn't advised for babies and I didn't know exactly WHY it wasn't good. He has no milk allergies so I wasn't too worried about that aspect BUT I was very concerned that there was another reason why giving milk wasn't good.

Desperate times call for desperate measures...you did the right thing.
