Just found the 2006 Zooper Hula, any info out there yet?

Hi all,
In my never ending quest to find a great stroller (the holy grail must be easier to locate ) I came upon the 2006 Zooper Hula today. I'm due with my 1st in March and was pretty much set on the MacLaren Techno until I saw this model and was very impressed. It looks like Zooper has listened to feedback and made some very nice updates. The Hula is a bit smaller and lighter (17lbs) and has a one-hand fold that attaches to itself on the side. Nice fabric and includes an adorable furry boot/sleeping bag. All wheel suspension. Full recline seat. I've seen mixed reviews of Zoopers on this site & others and now need some clarity around which stroller gives the most bang for the buck (only have space for 1 stroller and I walk everywhere in nyc), the Mac's or the Zoopers? Thanks!

I Just recieved my Hula and LOVE it!! My best friend has the Maclaren Techno XT. I have tried it and thought it was a great stroller until I found the Zooper line. Originally I planned on getting the Swing, then i saw a Hula. It has a few great improvements over the Swing, a frame lock when its folded, the rear brakes are not linked and the leg rest area goes straight up to enclose the seat area for infants. The one hand recline (unlike Maclarens) is great! I use the stroller primarily for my 2.5 yr old but my 4 mo. old fits well too!! I love the cold weather bag in the winter (I won't have a chance til spring to try the rest!) It folds well, the cold weather bag needs to be removed first though. It works well enough in slush to go a short distance but anything longer I still prefer my jogging stroller. That all being said my friend with the Maclaren is planning on a Zooper when the budget allows.

I've been trying to decide between the Zooper Hula and the MacLaren Techno XT. I've narrowed it down to these two based on the fact that they both seem to be great strollers and they have height adjustable handles, which is important to me since i'm tall. I'm leaning more towards the Hula since it allows for an infant car seat, and the Techno XT seems to get mixed reviews as to its suitability for newborns. The only thing holding me back is the difference in the stroller weights, although it's not huge, the Hula being about 17lbs and the Techno XT at around 14 lbs. Did this factor seem to make a difference to you? I'm going to be a first time mom and this is all so new. My husband also really wants a good jogging stroller, so i thought about saving money and going with a cheap snap-n-go thing (for the car seat) initially and then getting a less expensive light-weight umbrella stroller when the baby is a bit older, but i haven't been able to find one that is inexpensive, light-weight, and has height adjustable handles. So, i'm thinking that the Hula might be the best solution. i appreciate any of your thoughts/advice!
