I don't think just because you are a teen you are automatically a bad mother. I think there are plenty of teens out their who are better mothers than some 30 year olds.

But there IS bad teen mothers out there also. Not everyone is mature enough to be a mother.

BUT just because you are a good teen parent, doesn't mean you shouldn't have waited until later on in life for a child.

If that makes sense? IDK it does to me.

I don't get angry at this.
Only because things are based off statistics.
Only I know how my parenting is (along with my family) So I have no reason to angry over something stupid like that.

It has been shown that some teenagers are NOT ready for the responsibilities , but some are. It just depends on how you take on the challenge.

exactly.
teen mothers don't necessarily have less potential, but they typically have less opportunity & more things working against them.

I know I should have waited. But what happened happened. And I know ther are bad teen mothers out there, but I'm thinking abouthte ones who are good mothers.
And it does make sense.

you know, i hate that they do call teen parents bad parents.
but look at me (not bragging or anything) i have my beautiful daughter but she was born with a cleft lip/palate most teenage parents would dump them off and disown them.
i stepped up and am taking respoibiltes (SP?) for my actions
i do know a mom that had a cleft baby and she has disowned him and doesn't show him off like i show Faylynn off.
the only reason why she's doing the surgeries is so she'll accept him

Sure, there are ALOT of young girls who shouldnt have children, because most girls are immature and not responsible enough. and those girls, give other teen mothers a bad name because they dont take care of their child[ren], or they shove their kid onto other people to raise and take care of, and they feed off the government. [using the gov for assistance is one thing, but abusing it is another] people are just ignorant and want to stereotype all teen mothers. they dont even deserve for you to waste your time being mad at them. they are just ignorant people who dont, and chose not to understand that not all teen moms are bad.
