stroller and carseat combos....

I bought a stroller that comes with a carrier. It says on the box that its a carseat. My friend told me its not safe to use those in cars, ONLY for carriers. Is this true? Anyone know if you can use them in the car?

As long as it comes with the thing to attach it to when you put it in the car, it is a carseat too.
I'm pretty sure that they need a base like this one has.

I used mine in the car and my doctor told me it is safe it just means that you can also use it to put it in the stroller and on shopping carts too.

Its a carseat right? Well then it should work. Im sure its safe or they wouldnt b aloud to sell them, thats what I have!

Thanx ladies... I just wanted to make sure because the box says you can but I have a friend and family member saying not to use it.

I have one just like this and it's a combo too.

Most of the stroller and carseat combos are sold as a set to be cheaper than buying each piece seperately. I know many ppl that have bought them as a set and it has been perfectly fine. So, I would image that it should be okay!

I had the combo for my son. I absolutely loved it. I live in louisiana. tend to rain alot down here. I can click him out of the base click into the stroller and go. I also love that. I can put down hoods up and he wouldn't get wet or if he is sleeping people are alot less likely to want to bother the baby.
