Pedophilia

Not a fun topic by any means. My friend and I are having a debate and I wanted you ladies input.

He defines pedophilia as sexual contact with children or child pornography. He doesn't see writing sexualstories ABOUT children as pedophilia becasue there are no children being abused, it's merely fantasy.

I see stories as being part of pedophilia. Thoughts lead to action. Not always, but a good majority of the time. People shouldn't be having sexual thoughts about children period.

What do you ladies think? Are fictional sexual stories about children pedophiliac in nature or harmless fantasy? Why or why not?

i think that it's gross whether reality or fantasy! So I think it counts regardless.

Pedophilia is pedophilia, fantasy or not.

But I'll just respond to your question ...

There are stories, like in playboy (I think?) that people use as porn...
So, yea. It's pedophilia. Anyone that thinks it's OK to write about shit like that should go to hell with the rest of them.

Stories are def pedo..and fucking nasty.
They say there is a special level of hell for pedo's...they deserve it and more.

I think until the act has been committed it is not pedophilia. Much in the way that someone can write a story about murdering someone and they are not considered a murderer. Do I condone writing erotica about children? No, of course not.

well its def. f'ing demented...and gross...and i think ppl who are pedophiles...should be slowly tortured.......lol but i study law in college, and it is the "act" of "contact"....so they couldn't be charged w/anything if they're not writing about a particular child..or "acting" out anythign w/an actual child. there is an actual website where pedophiles post bulletins about local events (dance recitals, little league games, birthday parties in public places)...anywhere there is goin to be children...so they can go and "watch"! one of my criminal law teachers told us about it..and there's nothing they can do...bc there is nothing illegal about postin bulletins about local happenings in the area....bc theres no illegal intent that can be proven. its a sick world we're livin in.....

I personally think pedophilia is just gross. I had an ex who once took a naked picture of his small female cousin... After I found that out, even when he said i dont know why i took it and tired to explain it to me, i just ugh i couldnt handle it... ugh It's all disgusting in itself, and i think pedophiles should be punished just as hard as people who commit murder.

Personally I think as long as no actual children are involved then their thoughts are their own and neither they nor anyone else can change that. What about those who fantasize about being the child or being a baby? They dont want to DO the act to someone but fantisize its being done to them.What aboutwhen someone calls their man "daddy" in bed? What about those who dress up in costumes? ANY costumes? Its a fantasy and thats all. Nothing more.

I believe that writing sexual fantasies about children is still a form of paedophilia because it all starts in the mind. You think, you do. Just because there are no actions involve in writing the story, there is still the thought of it.

Also, people who are going to read/reading these things are not any better by the way.

Pedophilia is a disorder. Whether acted upon or not, it's still a disorder.

Most fantasy and thoughts lead to action so therefore anyone who thinks or fantasises about children is disgusting and not someone I would want to be friends with.
Without a doubt it is pedophilia.
