Um...yes. it's actually perfectly normal for two people in a committed relationship to still have fantasies about others...even if it's just a fantasy about a celebrity. Completely normal.

If they act on it, then there is an issue. But fantasizing about someone else? That's just normal human behavior.

Yes, it is because its perfectly natural. Thats why there is so much porn out there. Adults whether in a relationship or not naturally fantasize about other people.

Afantasy is not reality. Its fiction. It doesnt exist in the world therefore they did nothing worng. Fantasy does not cause any kind of "act" to happen.

Pedophilia refers to being sexually attracted to children, not to acting upon it. So yes, you can take it that I'm also asking what is inherently wrong about being sexually attracted to children, if you do not act upon it?

How is it wrong, exactly?

Whether or not it's right is entirely subjective, like everything. In my relationship, yes it's perfectly alright for us to fantasize about other people.

There is no act of pedophilia. Pedophilia is sexual attraction to a child, that's not an act. Having sex with a child is not pedophilia, just as having sex with someone of the same sex is not homosexuality.

No one is questioning why it is wrong to have sex with children, because children cannot provide informed consent and it is a violation of their rights to have sex with them, or to molest them.

It has not in any way been shown why it is wrong to think about it.
