Travelocity, Expedia, Hotwire.com...etc...

Has anyone booked with these sites for anything? Just wondering if they were ok to actually book through.

They're the same as Orbitz, Cheaptickets, etc.. I would just open up a bunch of those websites and compare prices thoroughly.

Also, you could try going directly to the websites of the actual airlines.. the ones you flew with before and liked a lot.

I've booked through them, most of them, and they are fine.

Please don't use CheapTickets... I used to sell that stuff... And I don't want any of the awful things that happened to those people to happen to anyone else....

lol i call and book through the actual airline...if you actualy take the time and call them and sit with them for a couple hours they will get you cheaper tickets then a 3rd party website...

once i was on united.com and the flight on line they were selling from denver to Osakawas 1500 and then i called them and they got me on the same flight the same day on the same airplane for 900....so sometimes taking the time to call can save directly with the airline

Yep! Booking with the actual airline will give you prices without the booking fees that come with making reservations with 3rd parties.

Im really just looking for a better deal on a hotel in new orleans. I dont want to stay somewhere nasty, and alot of places there are. And the sites seem to be 5 to 10 dollars off the actaul hotel site.
