Update on Cheyenne's fussiness

It was indeed teething. She has a tooth growing on the bottom. I have teethings toys, freezer teethers and Little Teethers (like oragel.. but not using it til I check with Pedi). What did you do to ease your baby's teething pain. She's been nawing her hands and it seems to be the only thing that works lol but I don't want her to chew her hand off. Any suggestion?

with my brother we tried those little nubbies i gues thats what they're called and we put half in the freezer and half in the fridge.. it worked until he got teeth then we used orejel O_O

how old is chyenne?

3 months!!!! I know, early. But she's got one growing.

it's never too early for teething :-p yeah i'd say talk to your pedi first then try the nubbies and freezie things.. =) or try a warm washcloth and let her suck/chew on that..

I've been using the baby oragel stuff, Toula will be 4 months on July 4th and she has 1 tooth coming out on the top, and 1 tooth coming out on the bottom. She won't use the frozen teething toys..just her hands, and my nipples, lol.

Tylenol or teething tablets. When my oldest son would teeth nothing else would even come close to helping. He drooled so much that the orajel just came right out with it before it had a chance to do anything. And 3 months is right on schedule really. My oldest had 4 teeth by 4 months, but he started teething and trying to get them through when he was 2 months. It can be a long and grueling process. You may also try putting a wet washcloth in the freezer then giving it to her to chew on. My 11 week old is starting to show signs that he is teething, and I can say wholeheartedly that it is the one thing about this age that I am NOT looking forward too!

my pedi told me not to get or use anything that freezes because it can give them frostbite on their gums. (wth?)

Oh wow..crazy! Funny how doctors vary so much! I think they put their personal opinions in as well. My pedi told me that they're great..they relieve the baby by them being able to chomp down..and it has a slight numbing effect because of the ice!

YaY!!! a tooth !! how cute!! I used to wet a washcloth and freeze it, worked just great!! Another BG mama had really great Idea for teething babies that take passies… I go find it!!

it's cause i'm sleepy. haha. me & cheyenne went to bed last night and i got up to call adam to bed twice ( he was playing lego star wars) so finally I went to sleep and then much later he's trying to wake me up to do the dirty, and bt that time i was ssssssssooooooooooo asleep, very very exhausted, I couldn't even wake up for sex. i was like I called you back TWICE to bang so goodnight. haha

yeah.. i eat ice all the time and have never had damaging frost bite. i was really not impressed with her advice. she also told me that i couldn't use baby oragel or tylenol. i'm almost 100% on getting a new pedi for that and many other reasons.
