Hey ladies... My hubby and I are gettingn stationed in Charleston, SC. I was wondering if maybe someone can help me out with information on areas around theree. good neighboorhoods. where would be a great are to rent a house for cheap   thanks ALOT!!

hes in the navy. i usto be in the army and went to ft jackson in sc for basic. but i never got to see more than ft jackson or parris island lol.. your a mil wife too?

yep. Navy. How come he has to change duty stations? My husband has been in for 2, has 3 more to go and won't ever change.

he reenlisted... and washington is GAYYYYYYY.... freakin dolce and gabana are straight compared to this state! lol and we wanted to.. were egoing to get hawaii but by the time he told me, they closed it.. someone else took the job so we got sc... closer to home

aww, I wish my husband would have chosen FL, CA, or Hawaii. but he chose VA for his #1 cuz a buddy talked him into it (who he never talks to ever since he's been here). We didn't meet until after he was done with a-school so if we were married before then I would have told him no lol

shore duty. He's attached to a squadron. And he's a Storekeeper. yours?

o0o0 hes on a submarine. hes a yoeman. he does al the paperwork and deals with pay issues and what not. well at least he dosent get deployed everyother 3 months for 3 mo nths. lol its horrible. i cant actually wait until we go to shore duty.

oh my husband wanted to be a yeoman, but the job wasn't available at the time. Yeah, my husband's squadron is attached to the U.S.S Enterprise and they just went on a deployment July 2007 to Dec 2007. It sucked  

thats right i saw an article about that... funny thing is, i usto be an sk. but in the army it was called a 92y or a suply specialist.. and i mean being a yeoman has its good part, but not a freaking sub. i barely get to see him.

yeah that would suck. How does that work? is he on it for days at a time?

well yeah.. when hes deployed hes gone for like 3+ months... he gets back for 3 months, and 2 months outta of those he has duty every 3-4 days so it sucks
