Can babies feel what the momma feel?

So my babys daddy had to leave last tuesday, his boss send him to work 3hrs away from town :[ he have to stay there for 1 yr or maybe more.
im here at my moms house and i cant go with him right now because i have my docs appt here andmy hospital is here! [im 34 weeks]
i really do miss him :[
so the wierd thing is that when he used to be here with me, my little gurl was always moving/rolling and doing all cute fun stuffs inside my belly.
im pretty sure she can feel her daddy close to her.
now that he is gone she is so quiet, she only moves once a day, no more rolling, no more hard kicks.

you think she misses her daddy?

Aww she probably misses her daddy tons. What a smart little cookie already!

I think when they get to a certain point, their movements slow down because they are running out of room.

Your baby knows you're sad.. like when i get upset about something he gets upset and starts kicking.. i think it's his way of tellin me to calm does.. because when we are stressed our babies are stressed... I know how you feel.. my husbund has to travel sometimes because of his joband stay awayand i cant go with him for the same reasons with the doctor and everything.

My bf is in jail right now and when he left he started doing that too
And then whenever he talks to me on the phone he starts kicking like crazy

Well, yes I am sure she feels what you are feeling too.. I know it's hard.

While I was pregnant I remember reading about stress in particular, and how really stressed out mothers are strongly inclined to bear really stressed out babies. So I guess the short of it is that babies can experience the chemicals in one's body which create one's emotions. This is why it's important to not only be physically healthy while pregnant, but emotionally as well.

Because he was on Drugcourt and he missed one NA meeting
And so the judge sent him to jail for 30 days

Yes he's been home alot more now... when he was gone i got to see him usually every weekend

i bet he misses his baby alot
my bf is on probation for 18 months so i kinda know how u feel.
im so scared one day they can probably take him in for any reason and may not see him for 4 yrs:[

is he gunna be out by the time ur baby is born?

Awe don't worry, the bigger your baby gets, she has less room to move around. Their movements are supposed to slow down as you get closer to your due date. Just don't stress about it (or about her daddy being a few hours away)

i will only get to see him on weekends or maybe every-other weekend
