Finally our Delivery Story

We went in for our scheduled CS on June 16, 08 at 5:30am.They started my IV and got me prepped.After all the paperwork it went pretty quickly. The DR came in, and after looking at my prev. CS scar from mydaughter 11 yrs ago said...."That's the lowest scar i have ever seen!" He decided hecouldnot use that, and proceeded to explainhe would make another one higher. (OMG, now i will have 2 scars, that sucks)They took me in and gave me the epi. which made me warm and tingly all over. I started to stress after that, reality hit me when i was looking at the babywarmer-lol! Well U won't believe what happ. nxt. They put up the sheet and brought in my manas they started. I FELT them CUT ME! I explained calmly that I could feel it on the Left, and they said "just pressure sweetie". I then panicked and was crying telling them it was pain not pressure as the Dr's were talking about their weekends eating sushi!!!! I was then screaming out in pain as much as i tried not to be a sissy. They realized i was serious and siad they couldn't give me anything until she was out bcuz it would supress her breathing. It was the longest 10 min of my life, i remember hearing her crying and them telling me to open my eyes but i couldn't. I didn't know that as she was pulled out they were giving me a memory drug to supress my memory and make me loopy. It was like a dream or out of body exp. after that as they did the tubal. I could still feel pain but could not react, i really thought i had died since i couldn't see as hard as i tried. When i finally came to, i saw her....so beautiful! They said i was opening my eyes and asking whos baby that was LMAO! Anyways i am still pissed that my special day turned into a baddream, but it was all worth it!

Congrats mama! That would be my worst fear if I ever have to have a c-section. I can't believe they were such jerks about it!

Omg! that is crazy!! Them takling about their sushi while u were scared shitless!!! I am so glad i never had to do a c section!! but to tell you the truth even having a baby vaginally... when the baby comes out your still in that outer body stage... probably not asbad as you having loopie meds.. I was induced with all of mine,

Thats a crazy story though... but its allworth it huh ;)

Congratulations mama! You did a great job! The doctors were talking about disney and vacation at my c-section. Almost like you were listening in on a private conversation. I had a tubal too so I got to hear that crap for a while! I am glad that you are doing ok. She is beautiful!

Congrats momma! With my 2nd c-section I went through the same thing, I could feel EVERYTHING! Worst pain EVER!

Ok, I am soooo late on this, Lol! I guess I have just been too busy  

Anyways.....OMG! I would have came off that table screaming!!! I cant imagine how painful that was for you.Well, at least Kaylee is out and perfect! I am sorry you had to go through that  

I just realized that Kaylee was 2ounces more than Allie and Allie was 1 inch longer than Kaylee   Weird!
