Question...maybe TMI

So I went to the doc and ended up having a bacterial infection that left untreated coulda caused my water to break.Well the gave me a cream that you put up there with an applicator.Wends night I used the medicine and I noticed that the first hour or 2 after getting up I leaked the medicine out.Typical.Well last night the applicator seemed a little harder to get up there, like it was being blockedbut I repositioned it and it went up fine.This morning I am leaking SO much!I changed my panties cause it soaked them and I could tell that it was the medicine but ALOT more then yesterday andI keep having to go wipe and its no longer the medicine that Im leaking or at least that I can seebut I dont know what it is.My cramping has gotten worse everyday sence Weds.But the doc sayed late pregnancy and ligiments streching is what he thinks it is cause Im not having tightning like contractions.But I dont remember feeling tightning when I had my son.I dont know whats going on.Its gross.

Try putting a pad on when you use the cream.. and call your doctor and tell them about the increased discharge, unless you think it could be your water. If you think it could be your water, call L&D and see what they say. They may want you to go in and get checked.

lol, my thoughts exactly. good luck with the medicine, hopefully the extra leaking will stop soon. i'm sure it's really uncomfy for you.

Heck yea! Its gross! LOL.I dont know if its my water or not.On Wends the doc said everything looked closed.He didnt 'check' me in fear of disturbing something that didnt need to be.I went Wends cause I thoght it may be my water when it was discharge due to the infection....Pregnancy is So wierd.2nd time round and still dont get it

Maaan I have/had the same infection! My doctor put me on some pills a couple of weeks ago that made me puke alot, so she told me to stop taking them and asked me if the infection was bothering me all that much. I said no. So they didn't give me anything new for the infection, no creams, pills...anything. Now the infection is starting to bother me again and I called yesterday and the nurse said she'd call me back with what we need to do about it. She says to me, "well we need to you come in for examination to make sure of what you have, since you're pregnant we don't want to give you any medicine that might hurt the baby" ARE YOU SERIOUS!!!! They gave me those pills, while pregnant saying it would be okay, and then I start puking. NOW they're like well we need to make sure of what it is. You all f-ing know what it is. I'm so frustrated!! What if this infection or those pills hurt my baby? Ugh. Anyway, sorry needed to rant...Good luck and I hope that all is okay with you. I'm sure it will be but always good to call the doctor about it.

Well the doc said the risk of the cream were much less then the risk of not having any medication.Im about to be 32 weeks and if my water broke Id have to deliver>Baby Im sure would be fine but the longer in utero is always better.So I dont know.Just trust the doc! Research the pills they gave you.See what you can find out about it.Might give you a piece of mind

lol, men... some days they're great and other days you hate em, haha. either way you look at it your "goodness" is being disturbed as it is with the infection plus the medicine and top it off with extra leaking. so i'm sure the doctor checking down there won't be nearly as disturbing as what's already goin on, lol.

Lol I shall try. It's hard though when I worry about every little thing about the baby. I did research the pills a while back and the pages I found said that usually they give the cream and not pills to pregnant woman because there could be more of a risk. So when she put me on those pills it was kind of odd to me. But she has delivered many healthy babies, so I'm sure you're right, I should trust her more. Lol. I think I'll look them up again and see if I find anything new, and just to refresh my memory.
