I'm going to sound sad here...

OK, so it seems like everyone on this site was jumping in the sack when they were only 2-3 pp....not me. It's been NINE WEEKS. We can't seem to figure out how to have sex with her in the house and we don't live near anyone to take her (that, and I would feel a little weird giving her to someone just to have sex). I know it's possible to do...lots of people have more than one kid! But having her in the room isn't going to happen and most of the time, we're too tired from a fussy little girl that eats every 2-4 hours. I need help...did any of you have a problem with pp sex due to the little one? How did you get past it? I'm starting to feel like a prude here  !

we waited 12 weeks pp. i was afraid

Haha...that would require the baby to sleep and us not pass out the moment it happens!

Girl I know how you feel, although I did have sex 3 weeks pp after that having sex was long and far in between, I'm just so tired and have no down time, we have sex about 1 or 2 times a month, maybe 3 if he is lucky  . its hard with a baby, just do it when you are ready don't feel pressured you'll be just fine, the babys here and nothing is ever going to be the same, good luck mommie.

Thank goodness he's such a good guy...I don't know what I would do if I had a husband that pushed for sex all the time!

i'm not worried about him being in the room with us b/c he has no idea whats going on and most likely we would wait til he fell asleep but I am 3 1/2 weeks pp and still sore and bleeding, I definately don't want to have sex right now!! We'll see how I feel at 6 weeks but I am not going to rush it, also I am SUPER afraid about getting pregnant again since you are very fertile after giving birth!! I want to start birth control before I try anything and he will wrap it up until I have been on BC for over a month just to make sure!! lol

Oh yeah...no babies here for awhile! It's not the sex while she's in the room thing because I know she won't know what's happening. It's that she's a noisy sleeper and my husband has clearly stated that he could not keep an erection if he could hear her cooing and making her little noise...and I can't blame him for that!

we had the same problem... so the first time we did it we used the couch. lol.

haha that's what we do now...it bothers my husband having the dogs in the same room i'd hate to see how he feels with a baby in the same room!

for keeping her asleep and kinda "soften" the cooing and all that , Id get a radio and play it for her .. With maddy we used tree frogs (only thing that would get her to sleep and stay asleep) but it freed us to get busy without her waking or making things akward with her in the room ..
