COMFEST WEEKEND!

Today is a big community festival downtown, and we go every year...but this year I would like to bring my baby! She is one month old today, and I would be carrying her in a sling so she wouldn't be around any of the weirdos...so what do you think? Is it ok to bring her? We can find a babysitter, I just like taking her with me everywhere!

Take her!  I don't know what the weather is there, but if it's warm, just watch her to make sure she's not overheating (esp in the sling), and stop to take a break so you don't wear yourself out walking around all day (I was still very very achey 1 month pp, but I had a cesarian).  Have fun~

my will be one month tomorrow and we are going to our community festival tomorrow b/c my daughter loves that kind of thing. i'm going to push him in his stroller with a mosquito net on it and during thr fireworks im going to sit in the car and feed him while my husband and daughter watch the show.

Take her! Shell have fun. We have well had one every year for awhile and they are building a nursing home where they had it so my newest baby wont get to go to one. Have fun!!

Honestly, no. She's one month old and has not had all her shots yet and it's allergy season and people aren't very clean (you know not everyone at that festival is sanatary). I'm not saying she will or won't get sick, regardless of her shots, but I wouldn't chance it.

Yeah you do have a trip downtown...I'm right off 70, so it's pretty easy for me!

go for it!!! What day are you going?? We're taking Adrien on Sunday, he will be 5 1/2 weeks old at that point. I love Comfest, I couldn't imagine missing it for the world!

I think we are going to go today...I wanted to go tomorrow, but BF has to work! It's just soo rainy and yucky outside! Do you know of any good happenings there or the schedule?? I wouldn't miss it either...I'm a modern day hippy. haha
