I was married at 19 and we just celebrated our one year in April. We have been dating since 2004 though and I know our relationship is strong. In fact I would say were doing better than some older people.

You stop making so much sense! You stop that right now!!   You're good.

that makes sense as well I suppose lol...but the love I have for my son and my husband are soo different so I never ever really comapre the 2...I still think you have to work at love, because with so many things like baby, financial issues, what not...love can become blurry, it can become not so clear at times and you may even doubt your love...therefore you have to work FOR the love between you and your husband to keep itstrongya know? But I do get what you're saying..

You have to work to "see" it but it will always be there. A million things can come between the two of you but love itself will always be there somewhere. I know the risk of my husbands job and if he didnt come home I would still love him. No work involved.

lol Try this: Me and my husband are 22 and our oldest daughter is 5 yrs old. 7 years and we are still very much in love. I know a lot of people find it hard to believe but we are and always have been in love. Both our families even agree. They say we were made for each other.

well going by what you're saying then...is it impossible to fall out of love, since it's always there? Also, will you only ever love one person then?

I got married at 19. . I took marriage classes, read books, and talked to people that had been married for a long time. (I wanted to have tools in our relationship) I also have watching my parents who have been married for 26 years. Love isn't always a feeling sometimes it's an action. Meaning Love is work. Relationships are hard. Lust is easy and though you do need it in a relationship Intimacy keeps a relationship strong and yes that does take work.

I don't think Love is easy I think it's very difficult at times. But so worth it!

You can fall "out" of love but the love will always be there somewhere if you really did love them. You can have love for someone without being "in love" with them. Love also isnt restricted to one person. There is no limit to the amount of love someone can give.

Hmm, depends. I think RELATIONSHIPS are hard work, just becuase life gets in the way. YOu have to work to make time for each other, work to not let stresses and outside influences affect your marriage. I dont think the actual connection and love you have for each other should be hard work though. Being with my husband is NEVER hard work. It is by far the easiest relationship I have ever been in , there is no struggle for repect, love, kindness and we work like a great team.

I don't think love takes work, but a relationship does. For example, I can have a work relationship with a person, but never love them.

It took little to no effort to meet or fall in love with my husband. I had no control over meeting him. We just got lucky and had orders to the same place! My first thought was "I'm gonna have his babies". Well, 7 years and 3 kids later... LOL!

This fool is my best friend and I love the shittles out of him. We aren't going anywhere. We'll be changing each other's Depends one day and I can't wait! I asked him at what age men start gardening (b/c old men always have a flower garden..LOL).
