Baby Einstein ocean adventure gym

does any one have this activtiy gym? Do you think it was worth the money?
The reviews seem pretty good, but I want to know what you mommies think!

how old was your baby when they started to play with it? my son is almost a month old, I know he can't really play with it yet, but I want to get it for him to look at, have tummy time on it

i have one to dakota loves it but the mat part it kinda thin so if ya put it on a hard floor make sure you fold a blanket or rug under it i have to do it now dakota can lift herself up with her arms she loses balence sometimes and bashes her head down!! 

She is 3 months now... I started putting her on the mat at about 4 - 5 weeks. At first she would just stare at it but now she reaches for the toys and the lights etc. I do put a blanket under it though - its not enough padding alone.

I feel all of the ones like that are not worth the money. My daughter only used hers for about 2 mos before she started to roll. I got this one instead and felt it was totaly worth it because it can be used when they crawl.

i love it and it is wayyy cheaper

I got this one too but hate it because its such a pain to put it all together

i admit. . i was a little confused at first on how to put the arches in and the mat to actually attach

yea! For some reason when you try to attatch the mat where its laying on the floor and the two arches over it, the little velcro things dont latch in right. its weird

thats what i was thinking and the ball keeps deflating on me =[
other then that i really like it!!

I have never had any problems with mine and my mom also has one and she has never had any problems with hers.

I need to get it out and give it another shot lol maybe Ill try putting it together another way. That ball deflating?! lol I dont have THAT problem lol. Is it completly shut and the little nub pushed in? haha

Hehe I have this play mat, the one the OP asked about... We got it as a gift, and Corbin was around... 2 months old then... EVERY time we'd put him on it, even for a second, he would start SCREAMING bloody murder! lol.
So we took everything off of it that would hang above it, and started reattaching them, slowly, so he could get use to it. He likes it now, but we hardly ever have it all set up, we just use the mat as a mat, and the thing that makes music, we strapped to his crib.
lol. I cant believe how expensive it is though, geeze I wouldn't have bought it!!! Lol.
