help!!

my daughter is 4 and she had e-coli posioning in oct. and since then she's been getting bladder and unrine infections the doctor said if it happened again he was going to send her to specilist well it happening again she crying that it burns she keeps running to the bathroom every 2 mins the let a few drops out but there is nothing i can do till i call in the morning you have any ideas i don't know wha to do to calm her for the night??

maybe tryputting her in the bathtub when she has to pee so it doesn't hurt so bad?

Poor baby...have you tried giving her cranberry juice regularly?

Im slow..so i dont know..I heard tomatoes are supposed to have e-coli or something wrong with them..

can you take her into a 24 hr clinic or maybe emergency to get her started on some meds and then see your doc in the morning?

I agree with whoever wrote that above. you should take her to the emergency room ASAP!

there still really not sure still on how she got the e-coli it was really bad i hope noone ever has to go threw that with there baby it sucks but she never had any problems till after it and i read it is common since she had it soo im gonna call her doc tomorrow and see when they can get her in to the spec. till then give her some meds i have her in the bath right now she's just there playing with her toys but i can't leave her there all night i hate that she's in pain ....

have you tried something like urial? i know they make one for kids it really helps twith the burning and takes out alot of the acid pee containes.

i've done that before and all they do is send me home with a cup to catch her pee and tell me to take it to the lab and wait for the docs call in the morning i been threw this 4 times i hate it

he better refer me to a specialist or im gonna go off on him i had sooo many problems with this doc i was waiting for this baby to be born then switch them both to the same doc

My 20 month old has something that is called VUR REFLUX it causes repeat uti's and eventually kidney damage (w/o treatment) she see's a Urologist on a reg. basis... I would recomend you look it up and read about it b-4 she goes to the doctor tomarrow... it sounds like "secondary vur reflux" I would take her to the e.r. they can give her meds now...
