What should I put her in to come home?

I will be delivering in Palm Springs in August. It will be probably 110 there and about 116 an hour and a half away in my home town. I have a cute dress picked out for her to come home in but its going to be really hot and muggy in August and the dress is kinda layered so it might be too hot. Should I just find a cute onesie to bring her home in or do you think it would be ok to wear the outfit I picked out. I just dont want her getting too hot.

HEY! I drove through Blythe on my way to texas! i used to live in Monterey!! lol. sorry random. but i think that it should be fine as long as you aren't hanging around outside a lot!

hmm.. why dont you bring both and see how the day feels?? Onesie sounds much more comfortablel tho!

We brought my niece home (in Palm Springs) last summer and she wrote a onesie with thin socks and mittens.

They have onesies that are a dress and a onesie at the same time. They are very cute and cool enough....I found them at carters....but ive seen them at walmart and sears, etc.....I brought my baby home in a sleeper and she wore them for about a month or so...but I live in New York and I had her in Feb so...it is much cooler here :-) And also, yes its her first time home and all...but the outfit wont matter, to be honest i cant even remember what sleeper she came home in....you will be preoccupied with other things, like recovering from pushing her out!

Well I only want to put her in the dress for all the pics our family members want to take of her in her first outfit. Other than that Ricky wants to just keep her in a diaper but thats not happening after buying all those cute clothes   lol hes so okie.

Yeah my town is only 3 exits long hahaha literally 5 miles long. So it prob wasnt much to see hehehe

my cousin lives there and thats what she brought her baby boy home in last september.

Thats understandable...I would say take her home in something light and cool...then change her when you get home. Im assuming that you live in the heat all the time that you might have ac....so she will be fine in a warmer dress
