posted 26th Jun
So im extra prepared for baby i have basically everything i need- but i never bought one of those little boppy pillows- i didnt think i needed one because im not breast feeding but i see families on tv ( LOL) use them for other reasons than just proping up for breast feeding- should i have one? how essential are they?

My sister LOVED hers and she didn't breast feed, either. She used the boppy, to feed when she was to tired to hold the baby. lol. That and she put my neice in it when she was learning how to sit up.

I dont have one either..I mean I can use pretty much a normal pillow when I breastfeed after all. I dont think they are that essential. Depends how much you want it, how much you think you will use it and also whether you have enough space at home.

I've had one for both of my boys and never used them but I know that some moms swear by them.

I love love my boppy. I not only do I use it for breastfeeding, but it's great for bottle feeding too. It helps your arm from getting sore. I also sit my son in it and he loves it. It is probably my most used baby product.

My son loves his boppy I put him on it on the floor so he can sit up a bit or put him on his tummy it helps him hold himself up he also falls asleep in it lol. I also use it to feed him I dont breastfeed but it also makes bottle feeding more comfortable. I LOVE IT!!!

If you're not breastfeeding you probably don't need it. It would just be wasting money.

i have two kids and have never bought one. Thought about it but never did. I guess you don't know what you're missing if you've never had one.

My baby likes to hang out in his. He also likes it for tummy time. You can also lay him in it on your lap and bottle feed. That way you have an extra hand to eat or flip channels, lol.

I am breastfeeding and dont use one. I had no idea how the hell it was supposed to help with breastfeeding so I said F it

I dont see the point in buying a $30+ pillow.

My friend got a me a long one, for when I get bigger to help get comfortable, and I know people use them to just set their little ones down.
