had the iud mirena thing put in yestarday, and as soon as they put it in it was like automatic cramping...bad cramping!!! its normal though! it just sucked really bad, today its a little better but it worth it if i dont have to remember to have to take a pill everyday, lord knows im not good at that! anyway just a little FYI for everyone...lol

How soon after you had your baby did they let you get it??

yeah i have been bleeding on and off for 6 months now and its still worth it to me!!! a little blood is better than beign pregnant!   good luck, hopefully the cramping will stop soon  

Things will get better..The first 3-6months are the worst,but then its fine.

I've had mine since the 16th. The first day was hell...cramping and bleeding, bust since then, it's been great. A little spotting is nothing compared to what I'd go through if I was pregnant again so soon!

i got it at my 6 week check up, mainly bc my insurance only pays for me up to 6 weeks pp so i didn it then so i didn thave to pay cash for it

i was gonna get mine at my 6 week appt, but i had sex and she said they dont do it(at my office) unless you're abstinant for 2 weeks prior to getting it. lame. so i had to wait 3 more weeks because after 1 week 6 days we went on vaycay and they wouldnt do it unless it was a full 2 weeks, so i had to wait until after vacation.

dang that sucks, they never said anything to me about that but i hadnt had sex in lord only knows when..lol
