Yeah, that's definately true. Sometimes just raising the voice shows her that I mean business. It isn't an every day thing, but it definately does happen. I'm not super mom and I get tired of asking her to do the same thing 5 times

Wow.I had my fifth child a year ago and frankly the yelling usually doesn't start till around puberty,but good luck with that!My children are obedient,kind,intelligent-not angels and certainly not robots...they listen.Lazy parenting tends to call on childish behaviours from the parents,so I would think twice about the yelling.It's a grown-up tantrum,if you think about it.Volume does not increase respect,it instills fear.None of my children fera me,but they listen because they respect me.Good luck to all of you out there.Parenting is tough.
