Sitting up

I know each baby is different but when do they start sitting up?

mine started sitting up at about 4 months...

dont worry tho some babies start late in one thing but early in another.

wow, 4 months! Yeah, I was thinking just the other day that Jayden seems like he may start to crawl before he sits up? He isn't showing any signs of wanting to sit up that I know of? How can you tell if they are ready and trying?

i THINK AVERAGE IS LIKE 6-8 MONTHS BECAUSE CRAWLING ISN'T FAR BEHINDBECAUSE BABY'S START AT AROUND 9 MONTHS TO CRAWL.......BUT IT ALSO DEPENDS ON BABY CUZ MY SISTER STARTED WALKING AT 9 MONTHS! SO EXPECT ANYTHING I GUESS  LOL

cassie was 4 months. But she is also 6 months with 2 teeth   She is moving kinda fast.

Jalyn just learned how to get into the sitting position yesterday, and of course she learned it while Mommy wasn't watching. She always waits till I'm not watching to learn something new.
edit* She's a litle over 5 1/2 months old

My son still will not really sit and he is 7 1/2 months old but he is crawling like no other and will pull himself up to a standing position! Its so weird but im not too worried yet.
