What is the weight limit of the 1st one? The website doesn't really give that much information...

I have a moby and I like it. It is very versatile and can be used for a long time (up to 35 lbs). We currently use the hip hold with my son. But I would recommend the moby.

I watched the video of the 1st one and they appear to be VERY similar... almost the same actually. The only difference is the little clasp on the end that you tie it off too. The moby you just tie a knot. I'm not sure what the little clasp is made of but with the moby it is just fabric to there are no chances of it breaking.

I guess depending on cost... if they are the same cost I would still go with the moby. If the 1st one was like 20-30 bucks cheaper I would go with it.

I got my moby for 10-15 bucks at OUAC.

I have a POI and I love it!

When I was deciding which one to buy something swayed me against the moby...but I honestly can't remember what it was.

edit: I don't know if the moby has a pocket or not, but I used the giant pocket on the poi wrap all the time. I could put my keys, debit card, pacifierand some wipes etc. in there and not have to bring anything else with me for short trips to the store

beige... it gets fairly hot here and I wanted something neutral that wouldn't make me sweat even more.

i have thought about sewing a pouch onto my moby, but the only problem I foresee is switching to different holds. The pouch wouldn't be in the right place anymore...

haha i just said that yesterday! because i saw the Maya wrap.. it has pockets.. so i said i'd just sew my own on to it.
if you made a pocket on the front.. by the logo or w/e it would probably be in the right spot.. but then you wouldn't be able to put much in there b/c thats what supports the baby's butt or back or whatever usually.
i figured out how to do the hug hold w it last night.. got kaleb it. then it was time to eat and go to bed lol.. he was all happy.. drollin allover my shirt.. then starts to cry bc he was hungy. lol. we'll try again tonight.
