My twin boys just turned 2 a couple weeks ago and I'm going to start potty training soon. I don't know if I should get 2 potty chairs and let them do it together or if I should just buy a seat cover for the toliet and do it that way. Im not sure if they are ready anyway.?..what

I hear the potty chairs are not effective, too often they just turn into a big toy. ?

Neither of my kids liked the potty chair.. Which I guess was a blessing in disguise because using a potty seat gets them better acquainted with the big potty anyway.. I'd give it a shot though since you are trying to do two @ once.. They might like the potty chair better, some children get anxious about getting near the big potty and need to be transitioned in.. I've potty trained both my kids @ the same time (my son was a late trainer) and it was a little tough using just one but we managed to get by..

My son was scared of his potty chair because it sang to him .... try using the seat covers .

i had been trying to potty train my son since the day he turned one, i figured if i started early, he would continue to grow up thinking pottying in the big potty was how it was supposed to go. he is turning 4 this july, and i JUST got down the potty bit. i bought everything, from potty seats, the seat covers, to kan-doo wipes, stickers, treats, and even toys as rewards. the ice breaker though was when i bought our youngest (whom is 2) an identical potty seat. they both sat on there pots together. the oldest got the hang of it, but i still have to work with the youngest, but my goal of one out of diapers was FINALLY accomplished!! GOOOOOOD LUCK!!! it wasnt easy for me!
