I completely agree! I left my husband (my son's father) because I didn't want my son growing up in that environment. I didn't want himseeing that kind of behavior or worse thinking that it was normal and OK. I really wanted my "family" to stay together forever but in the end I couldn't put my son through that. He now has 2 seperate but much happier (me anyways) parents and I think thats better than being in a home with both parents where there is tension or hostility all the time. Kids pick up on those things regardless of how hard you try to hide it from them.

Kudos to you for getting out of that situation. A lot of women never do and it's really sad. Things don't realyy ever get better. OP I hope you can find away to rid yourself from this issue. Hugs!

Well I talked to my husband an he seems to really want this to workout as i do to. So we're going to start going to counseling at my church. I strongly belive if we both want it to work then it will. But if it's only one giving ittheir all an the other not, then it won't work out. I truly belive if i can't make this marriage work out then i wouldn't be able to make an other. An I need to change alot of my ways too, as he does. Some where in all the this we lost respect for each other, An thats what we need to gain back. Thanks to everyone. It really helped me put things in perspective.
