To Be Tattooed? :/

Honestly, I would say the risks are too high. Even though they are probably clean, people develop reactions etc. to the dyes etc. Too risky!!!

My guy told me that it's not. So, hubby and I are waiting till 6 weeks after he's born, unless I'm still breast feeding because you can't do it then either.

They won't tattoo you when you are pregnant

I've heard that they wont if you are pregnant. I'd say just wait till after baby then go for it! I'm convincing myself to get one after baby haha. yeah I have to convince myself I'm such a baby when it comes to needles!

most places wont tatoo you while your pregnant. but it sounds very cute!!

i acutally asked the tattoo artist about this (not recently it was before i got pregnant and thought i might be but turned out i wasn't) he said its not harmful in anyway to do it as far as the ink and stuff BUT for some reason it can make a pregnant woman go into shock and either labor or have a miscarrage. so if i was you i would wait. you only have 10 weeks to go. trust me i have been dying to get another one but i waited all this time

edited to add: also you can get an infection if you don't clean it properly and that isn't good for you either

ya I have a friend who works at a tattoo place and most of them wont even do them while u r pregnant!

They won't tattoo you anyway. Atleast not a tattoo shop.

Getting a tatto can send your body into mild shock, and therefore can cause premature labor. Just wait til after you have your baby..... besides, you are probably a little swollen now, and you want to wait til that goes down before getting a tat anyway.
