Yay for July!!

I'm just have to share cause I'm really excited that I'm 1cm dilated and 50%effaced. And I'm starting to lose my plug! I know i could stay like this for another 4 weeks but its just nice to think things are coming along!! But my ob is guess about another 2 weeks or so!

Yay!!!! hopefully my Dr. checks me today!!!!

I am due the day before you!! I am super excited to get my exam done, lol I never thought I would be excited to get a vag exam done!!! I was suppose to go in on monday but I had to cancel that appt so I go and get checked on the 30th for my 37 week appt.!!

I found out yesterday i was dilated to 1 cm to. I was so excited everybody said i could be here for forever but i didn't care i was siked lol. The doctor told me he might come early that was even better news. So congrats cuz i feel your happiness lol !!!!!

Haha yeah I never thought I would ever have been so excited to get checked either but for some reason it hurt! It was like she was sticking her whole arm all up in my stuff haha sorry but now i cant wait for next week. Good luck to you girl!!
Its just a really good feeling that after 8/9 months of all this stuff your going somewhere and your not going to be prego forever!

I am Soooooo jealous! I went yesterday...nothing! I know that that means very little in the wild world of preggo, but I was hoping for some light at the end of the tunnel, or at least a braggin right that my baby might actually come out some day. Another week, another pound, another stretch mark, a better chance at healthy baby lungs. Good luck ladies!!

I am due the same dsay as you and the baby has been measuring ahead(not that it means anything). I go next Wednesday and will be checked and have a sonogram done to check his measurements. Congrats on your 1cm..LoL...I am hoping for progress too!

Well at least your doctor is telling you something. Last week my doc said my cervix was softening and I had to ask her about dialation and she just said I was starting to dialate but now how much. And I went in for this week and All she told me is that I could have it any day now and didn't say anything about how dialated I was or anything about effacement. Just "woe, you could have it any day now". I'm almost wishing I did more doctor shopping in the beginning. Oh and has anyone elses weight gain come to a complete halt now? I haven't gained a pound in 3 weeks!!

I have only gained 15 pounds this whole pregnancy and same things here haven't gained anything in 3 weeks. I was at 13 pounds for a while and then gained 2 pounds. My doc said as long as the baby is measuring fine(which he is measuring ahead) then do not worry about it.

Well I wish I only gained 20 pounds or so..I have gained 40 and since I have dropped I'm just hungry all the time and I can eat alot!! And I want sweets now cause I couldnt stand them in the beggining..haha oh and I'm eating ice cream everyday but i have only gain 1 pound in the last week which i thought was crazy with what and how much i was eating!

i'm so looking forward to my docs appt on the 2nd of jly!! I'm hoping i'll get to figure out whether i'm dilated or effaced or anything... i just want a ray of hope that she's gonna come sooner than the 23 of july lol. I'm so tired of carrying around this big ole belly lol... i wanna hold her already!! =)

I went to the doctor Monday... He said that I hadn't dilated much but that her head was all the way down, so I'm hoping that means not much longer! I have an apponitment Monday, I would just be elated if he checks my cervix, and says go on over tothe hospital, it's time!!!lol!!

I am starting to feel cheated by my Dr when I read all of your posts---is the Dr supposed to be checking our cervix now at every appointment to see about possible dialation? I see my Dr every week now (before it was every 2 wks) and he hasn't looked at my cervix in about a month!All he does is weigh me, measure the belly and take my weight..which keeps climbing. Then he says things are fine and I am hustled out the door. I wonder if this is bc I have a male Dr, they don't seem to spend time with us or be as sensitive as a female OB. Should I ask him to look at my cervix when I go in next week? I am so tired of being pregnant, I know that is probably bad to feel that way, but I am so ready for this baby!!

YAY!!! We are almost there July moms! I am dialated to a 2, and I am thinned, the baby's head is down. My doc stripped my membranes on Tuesday to try to get the ball rolling because of my blood pressure being high. If I don't go on my own soon, he will most likely induce me early because of it. I go tomorrow for an NST. So hopefully I will find out what's going on, cause at this point, my doctor has just left me hanging!! Good luck July mommys!!!!
