Do August babies need.....

hats and thick socks???? The only hats I have been able to find are winter time hats and all the socks have been thick fuzzy ones. I know I will need some receiving blankets.... but I am confused as to what else. My daughter was born in January so I am completly lost when it comes to a summer baby. All I know is it's hot as crap and I just can't imagine socks and a beanie on my lil man. Help please 

just get the regular cotton hats? they have them everywhere. And yes, they definitely need hats and socks. that's where body heat escapes and they wont be old enough to regulate their temp on their own.

I had hats and socks... just because it is cold indoors with the AC running.

Yeah I have been looking for regular socks and can only find really fuzzy ones. I thought maybe I could find some lil fisherman's hats to keep the sun off of him but haven't been able to find any small enough.
