Need some advice.

I started my period February 23 and it lasted 4 or 5 days....well like a WEEK ago I started cramping. I was like WOW I have never felt myself ovulate this is weird. Well it is still cramping on my left side off and on, and is always achy (it hurts "in" my left ovary and sometimes under my left ribs!). I am so confused. I know I am not still ovulating, but we have not been trying to get pregnant. I mean, we have been really careful b/c he doesn't want to try right now. So I don't think I am pregnant, but it hurts. And when I cough or sneeze it pinches. I don't know what it is!! Any advice? I have no signs of pregnancy so I don't think I am...

There are a lot of things that could be a sign of pregnancy and that is one of them, but it could also mean other things, I'm sure. Maybe just a pinched nerve?? It's hard to tell. See if it continues and the only way to know if it is pregnancy is to test if you miss a period. Either way, if it doesn't stop, you should see a doctor. I'm sure everything will be fine.

yeah give it a couple of days and see how you are feeling. It may just go away but I am not to sure what it could be.

hmm... u said u started ur period feb 23rd ... and had that pain last week. i looked at the calendar and last week would put u in the ovulation period. strongly suspect ur pain is mittelschmerz.. pain during ovulation. however if the pain persists... then you may have devleoped an ovarian cyst. another possibility but not likely .. is an ectopic pregnancy (tube). go ahead and call ur dr in the morning (it is nighttime my time  ) to be on the safe side. an ultrasound can check for ovarian cyst or an ectopic pregnancy or whatever that could be causing ur pain.
