Is it a crime.. proper place

sorry i accidentally posted it in premies bu same post:

If a doctor were on a bus and a woman or man had a heartattack and didn't help when he was in full capability of being able to save the persons life.. but instead walked away? Im not sure if this is a crime.. but should it be if it isn't?

I think it is because I remember a while back when my mom was really close friends with a doctor he told her that if anyone was in need no matter where they were, he would have to help them because it would be a crime he wouldn't help....this was years back I can't think clearly what he all said tho

ALSO....if I were to begin CPR...and stop because the person was "dead" in my opinion...then i could be sued. I MUST continue till the person is on a bus...er ambulance going to the hosp.

I was also told during schooling that a paramedic cannot pronounce someone dead at scene unless they are decapitated.
When you hear dead at the scene it was either a decapitation or a doc was doing an ambulance ride along.

My BIL is a firefighter, even if he's not on duty, if he sees an emergency he has to help. As well he should!

That's pretty messed up for anyone to do, but incredibly messed up for a doctor. Yes, anyone physically capable should help/

If no one knew he was a doctor really they couldn't do anything.

Not being a human being isn't a crime..
