Yeah, I had a miscarriage at 7 weeks the last day of December, we were pregnant again in February with a happy healthy little baby, due in November. We were told since everything passed normally we could go ahead and try as soon as we wanted, we tried in January and nothing happened but February was successful! I'm sure everything will work out fine for you. Congratulations!

You can usually see the heartbeat on ultrasound reliably after 6 or 7 weeks. Sometimes it takes a bit longer if the baby is laying funny. But we heard this baby with a regular abdominal doppler at 8 weeks 5 days which is REALLY early. Good luck! It's very normal to be nervous after having a miscarriage, I know I was on pins and needles for the first 12 weeks but everything turned out just fine.

Yep, low risk pregnancy and as you can see I have a healthy happy 4 month old baby boy! I was very nervous the first trimester too. But you are probably fine. They are just worried ifyou have like 3 or more miscarriages I think.

I had my first obgyn appt when I was 9 weeks, 6 days and I had an u/s and heard my baby's heartbeat. It was the happiest moment of my life at that point seeing him and hearing his heartbeat. But giving birth beat that lol

  so it is possible?
I had a m/c at 7wks +. Everything happened naturally and even after that final scan where the uterus was empty, the nurse we spoke to afterwards pretty much suggested we wouldnt need to take the necessary hpt 3 weeks later.
Its now 3 weeks since my m/c and I am having pregnancy symptoms again, sore boobs, slight nausea, cramps around about the time of when implantation should have happened (the last lot soon disappeared). I did a hpt on Wednesday and although vvv faint there was a line there. Im a bit confused as to whether this is a new pg or hormones left over from last time
Anyway I'll be doing another test on Monday to make sure (if I can hold out that long lol). Just hope Im not clutching at straws.
Did your AF arrive at all then?

No I didn't get a period in between. I had read that after a m/c you would get your period in 3-6 weeks. It had been 4 and my periods are regular and predictable so I was a little worried but not very. My friend had an extra pregnancy test and told me I should just in case. Sure enough I had a faint line. I took another one a week later and it was darker. And now my handsome boy is playing on the floor "razzing", staring at his hands, and having a fun time!

and a cutie he is too
ive got typical early pregnancy/prememstrual symptoms (which ever it is). But as I did a hpt on Weds which showed a faint line Im not sure if its hormones hanging around from my m/c as someone suggested to me. What I cant get my head round is if I am premenstrual then surely there cant be any hormones hanging around from last time.
But you and your ds are living proof that it is possible to catch on very quickly after a m/c.
Thanks xx
Roll on Mondays hpt lol
BTW how did they work out your due date?

lol thanks. Yes, you are extremely fertile after a m/c and giving birth so it is very possible you are pg. I had a m/c on June 1st, 2007 and found out I was pg again on July 1st exactly a month later. I would take another test just to make sure and possibly another one. When I went in for my first prenatal appt I told them that I had a m/c and didn't get my period and got pregnant again right away and so they did an u/s on me and measured the baby and that is how they determined my due date. so they will do that for you if you're pregnant again.
