wrong place sry

any Medical professional including anyone who is CPR trained HAS to help someone in need. Yes they can get in trouble. However, I doubt that anyone would announce they were a Dr after allowing someone to die on the bus when they could have attempted to help.

There is something about a good samaritan law, but idk what all states it's in etc. Basically it says what you just asked, like if you saw someone getting beaten or something or mugged etc...and you just stood there and watched or even video taped it (yeah srsly) then they could arrest you and charge you with something. You might try googling the good smaritan law though I'm sure there is a website on it somewhere

im pretty sure it is...when i was taking a life gaurd class they said something about how its my responsiblity legally to save someone even if its away from the pool

Yes it is
My mom is a nurse and if she ever sees a car wreck or anything she is supposed to stop
If she doesnt and someone finds out then she will get in trouble

Good question... could someone that helped get sued if something went wrong thou?
