How would you feel about this?

Okay well in my neighborhood, there is this man who has a sign that is very racist. I think in a way he should take it down, but then again its his property. The sign that he has in his yard says that he will kill obama if he becomes president. I mean what kind of shit is that.

People say that they can't make him take the sign down, because he owns his property and all his taxes are payed and that they can't make him take it down. I think that they should at least try to get him to take it down.

What are your opinions on this?

I would call the cops. Yes, it's freedom of speach but, he is threatening someone's life. it needs to be brought to someone's attention.

I was thinking that too but a lot of people think that just because someone is a different color than them, it's automatically racist.

you are right, that it is his yard but, he is out right publicly threatening someone's life. I think they can do something but, I could be wrong.

i dont see how thats racist, he could just not like him for president... Maybe it is over a racial thing, but the sign its self doesnt say anything racist... It is threatening him though!

Well his other sign also says KKK will rise again. I mean that's just how i took it.

i think let it go. he's probably just some redneck who likes to talk out of his ass. by no way do i think it is racist, or a real threat. i would just let him be and be grateful you have more sense than that.


edited to say- even though he has kkk will rise again, it still just some hillbilly that likes to talk shit. just like the guys that drive around in big muddy trucks with rebel flags on them. if you were to actually say something, it would just start trouble. and no, the cops cannot make him take it down.

Well I love Obama and I don't think that sign is racist at all. Maybe he just don't like Obama's views on things?
