Breastfeeing in Public(also good for pregnancy)

posted 25th Jun '08
I was just looking around and found this. It's an awesome idea for moms who arent comfortable bf'ing in public. its also good during pregnancy, sort of like a bella band...its only 18 dollars, so its worth it for sure if you can uise it in pregnancy AND nursing. just htought i would share with ya.

PS this is where a bf'ing forum would come in handy.

i know i dont either because its 230-some pages. if i have a question i dont wanna read through 230-some pages to find the answer. i want to go into a forum (like parents with infants, or pregnancy issues) and be able to post a topic, or search the topics) JMO.

i just let it all hang out. If someone has a problem, they shouldn't be staring at my boob in the first place. it's my legal right and my daughter doesn't deserve to eat under a blanket for someone elses comfort.   not that I have an opinion on it or anything

we were at Red Robin (burger joint) i was at the back of the restaraunt so, I figured no one is going to be able to see under the table (i'm really little so I end up BF under tables half the time)so, I whip it out and start feeding Piper. This 17 year old server rounds the corner at the perfect angle to get an eyefull of my boob, she instantly turns red and covers her eyes w/a menue and starts whipering to other workers that some lady has her boob out. UM if you can see my boob, you can see the baby latched to it!!!! I think she thought I was flashing her or something.

that's funny. We're going to have to go to the Alamo this summer. W/my son, we lived in upstate NY and went to tons of historical sites. My husband is a huge history buff and took full advantage of being in the east. I nursed Elliot in front of the liberty bell and in the court yard of independance hall. it was the dead of winter so, he was under tons of blankets but, had it been sunny and warm, he would have been out in full view. Heck, he's been nursed uncovere in the back of an airplane at 30,000 ft. I am no modest mama when it comes to feeding the bebe

I love my glamour mom tanks! I know they are 42.00 each but, my granny bought me 2 when I was pregnant w/Elliot and they have held up great for almost 4 years. They do get a bit hot in the summer but, I'm never out side enough to bother w/buying reg nursing bra's. We do laundry several times a week so, two actually does me just fine.

i just wear a thin tank top with our without a shelf bra and pull it down. I bought a ton from JC Penny's they had them in every color for like 5 bucks and I like it way more than the nursing tank I do have, when you bend over you can see down all the layers of your shirt, and it looks weird!

As for the BFing sticky, you don't have to read all the pages! Just ask your question, most of us are more than happy to repeat ourselves to help out!!!

And for the thing you posted... I agree with Christina. I just wear layers, one tank top underneath. That way I only have to pull up the upper layer and my belly is still covered.

And YAY for NIP!!!
