Baby Shower Favors

posted 25th Jun
Just wondering what everyone has done for baby shower favors? I was talking to my friend who is throwing the shower, but we really have no idea what to do. I thought individually wrapped decorated sugar cookies would be cute, but I can't find them for less than $3 a cookie, which would add up quickly since we have a lot of people coming!

Any ideas for a cheaper alternative, or a place to get the cookies for cheaper?
Thanks for the help!!!

I went to the dollar store and they had a ton of cute little vases with fish on them! I had over 50 people and that was nice and easy to do. they all like them! Maybe you could make the cookies?

Couldn't you just make the cookies yourself?

we did little mesh bags with mini pink pacifiers tied to them and inside were colorful almonds i don't know their exact name but ppl use them at weddings for favors also (they come in plain white for weddings). they aren't expensive though.

I made princess sugar cookies, decorated them and individually packaged them for my daughter's first birthday...took me forever, and NO ONE TOOK THEM. My husband is begging me not to do it again to myself, especially since this time I'm pregnant!

isn't free cake enough????? LOL I guess that because, I've only had company baby showers   the cupcakes at Piper's were super yummy. They were strawberry w/vanilla frosting, pink sprinkles and pink baby bottles on top....do plastic baby bottles count????

I went to a Party Warehouse type place and got 3 big Bottle like piggy banks and filled it with candy and had little bags stamped with a cute "Baby" stamp... you can use the banks your self after and/or give to someone else... everyone loved it.. and it was cheap and easy. And if people don't eat all the candy you have some for youself for later
