Birth Control

Just Curious what kind of birth control can you use while breast feeding or are there any you cant? What are you using after pregnancy? I am so scared of getting pregnant again!

yup me too, i posted something like this and just came to the conclusion of no sex. period, everything had an affect, and the iud thing aint for me, anythin i have to stick up there and leave and try not to be paranoid about aint for me! lol

*ets we were using condems, and it broke! so yeah, no sex for me. lol

Im getting the IUD... ive heard its totally safe for BFing but im still going to research it a lot before i make my final decision

The mini pill. You just have to be careful to take your pill around the same time everyday and never miss. Regular B/C can decrease your milk supply.

Haha I was really scared but I will NEVER get the depo again and thats the only one I trust 100% so I might go ahead and go for it   Nervous about it though

I've never heard of that is it really effective?

Depo was a nightmare for me!!

Same here! I had a period forever! and I was such a bitch the whole time

My dr told me Monday that he believes I am too fertile for the mini pill and would end up pregnant again. My hubby can't even sneeze near me without me getting pregnant. I am getting Mirena. It's safe during breastfeeding and less than 2% of women get pregnant on it.

i thought about depo, but i have never been a small girl, im what they considered thick, curves in the right place, still got em even at 6 mnths , but that depo packs on weight and they say gettin rid of that is hard as hell, harder than the baby fat so i was like, yeahno go for me. lol

It is effective IF you take it around the same time everyday and NEVER miss. If you miss or even take it a few hours off you're suppose to use condoms the rest of the month. I'm taking it. I don't want a IUD and no way am I getting the depo shot.

Lol its probably not for me then i'm very forgetful and I would end up pregnant again there is no way I could handle two kids right now   i'm scared about raising one!

i heard that if you have a "blessed" boyfriend he tends to get poked by the iud, lol. my friend had hers taken out and went on the shot because her bf was getting poked, and i asked my ob about it and he said it's true lol.

Haha maybe thats a way to get him to quit askin for it!

Ya, my doctor gave me three choices: mini pill, IUD, or depo. I picked the pill. We will probably be using a back up method as well.
