The mathematics

Alright, so yesterday I was 13 weeks 6 days, today would be 14 weeks or 13 weeks 7 days ? I thought 14 weeks that's what the due date calculator told me. But someone tried to tell me I was wrong and that "I'm stupid" despite that the 7th day is the 14th week to me. How would you do it?

Id say you are 14 weeks thats how i do it also. Plus the little thing said 14 weeks today lol

Me too, that's how I would do it especially since it's from a due date calculator that is very exact.

7 days = 1 week

so

13 weeks 7 days = 14 weeks

I'd personally say 14 weeks, it jsut makes sense.... I've never heard anyone say it different... I think it would sound ignorant to say 13 weeks 7 days.

Yes, thank you! lol. I tried to explain it but she was pretty stupid and kept saying noooo 13 wk 7 day ur dumb u cnt count it 7 days to a week bleh bleh bleh.

Yea i go by the due date calculator thing also, and to make sure that was right i went by my first sonogram that told me exactally to the day how far along i was and it was right.

Wow she said you're dumb, 7 days is a week... i know we are all a bit out of it (Or that is what i gather from other postings... pregnancy is making me a little dumber lol) but we learned 7 days in a week in kindergarten. By what she is telling you there should be 8 days in a week and unless you are a beatle, that is just not so...

Haha I know!! That is what I said ! I said "Erm, you do realize that by what you are saying you are making 8 days in an entire week versus there really being 7 because when you count "14 wks, then 1 day and then 2 days " etc there are actually 7. She can't do the math.
