OP wait the 2 days.... that way you may not be disappointed. If I test early I always get a neg.... but if I wait I get a positive!

It's great. I suggested getting 12 weeks post partum. Anything after that and they say it hurts really bad to get it inserted. I got mine at 12 weeks and all I felt was a small pinch. It wasn't bad at all. However, you spot for what seems endlessly for a little while. If you get it, make sure to wear a pad for the first month or so. It will stop, and it's one hundred eprcent worth it.

And OP, I say test, but she's right. While I get pregnancy hormones from conception ( I swear I feel pregnant right after :-P) many other women won't get a positive test until they are a few days late.

I second that!! I want another one soooo bad right now, but with a 2 1/2 year old and the baby will be 1 on Saturday, right now is probably not a good time! So I want to live vicariously too!!! But you might be better to wait to be sure!! Good luck!

They are supposed to insert mine at my 6 week check up. I will be breastfeeding so they said my uterus will/should be completly back to normal size by then.

Well, tell him it's not necessarily true. My kids are extremely intelligent children and all had to be formula fed. My breasts don't make the milk. I got a little when my daughter was a baby and almost sarved her to death because I'd eben trying so hard for three months. So, when Drake came, I went straight to the bottle with him.

My kids have done great and are healthy and are smart. Do what you want. It's not him who has to be attached to a child 24/7 and if it's your choice not to breastfeed, then it is your perogative. Personally, though, I have wanted very badly to experience breastfeeding.

I loved the experience with Bella. I think I'm just nervous that I won't have enough time for both kids. I am a stay at home mom, so I have time.... but I want them to get everything they need from me and just hope there is enough of me to go around.
His first 2 kids were formula fed but the mother was an idiot! She would walk in the rain with them and everything! They were sick a lot.(duh) So I think thats why he was kinda suprised Bella was so healthy. I think in the long run I will end up doing whatever I want lol like I always do

Ooooh, so he's been sort of traumatized having to watch his other children be sick and whatnot. That's really sad. Some women are NOT meant to be mothers, though, and lack the common sense it takes to care for a child.
