I don't think the grandmother is a bad idea so to speak, but she's the only grown up I remember seeing.....and she doesn't live with them either. NO supervision for children that young?   What's that telling the child watching it?

But grandmother lets them stay alone. If I left my kid with my mother and she let him be all by himself, I'd be more enraged than I am just having to listen to Max and Ruby.

Oh hell, so would I.....but their mom leaves them alone too......guess mom learned it from grandmother.  

Uh, yeah, if either max and ruby or yo gabba gabba comes on, my daughter who is 4 says, mom can you see what else is on?

Ugh, I didnt even finish reading the OP, but I can't stand Max and Ruby.  
Ruby is such a bitch. She is a terrible role model for big sisters. Poor Max, no wonder he seems to tune her out. I wish I could....

my daughter loves max and ruby and we notice her behavior is worse after she watches this. she tries to mimic max and she has been talking in full sentences since she was 1 but after watching this show she tries to act like max and just say one word to get her way. it drives me crazy!

This is too funny and all too true about Max and Ruby..my kids only like it OK....

The problem at my house is Spongebob Squarepants I swear it is on 50 times a day....and what makes it worse is when my hubby gets home from workl, he's been known on more than one occasion to turn it to that show himself!!

LOL Oh yes, Spongebob is the biggest problem in this house too! Haha I know every single episode the second it starts!!

Me too!!! And when the kids are glued to it and don't want to do a chore bc heaven forbid they miss 2 seconds of the show, I'm like "I've seen this one at least twice that means you've seen it 4x, now get your butt up and do what I told you to!"

LOL On that I'm lucky I guess, my daughter isn't even 5 yet so she doesn't have any other chore then to keep her room cleaned. But if she does ever have to get up for something, I'm must like seriously.....it didn't change from the last time you saw it. Haha
