  i just passed out at my first lol..like the person who posted before me said..just talk to your doctor about it and ask a lot of questions about anything you are worried about. Since you gave birth to a premi before I think you are considered high risk so they will be keeping a close eye on you anyway. Congrats and goodluck with the rest of your pregnancy!

I think the biggest problem you might have is the close proximity of your children. I believe they like 2 years in between. It gives the incision adequate time to heal and less chance of rupture while trying for a VBAC. My doctor gave me the ok to try for a VBAC but I ended up with another 'emergency' c-section. If it makes you feel any better, my second section was WAY better than my first. I didn't use any pain meds other than ibuprofen while I was in the hospital and nothing at home! I was up and walking around the morning after too. So good luck either way!

My first sounds like your second   I think I took a percocet once. And the only time during my c-section that was bad was when they were sewing me up I started gagging a lot they had to sedate me a little.

It really depends on your OBGYN.. I agree most will not consider a VBAC, and there is certain criteria that the delivering hospital must meet. You also must have a "bikini cut". I get to have a VBAC if I have an uneventful pregnancy..

You have to make sure that you were cut horizontally on the inside (uterus). Even if you have an outside bikini (horizontal) cut, you can be cut either way on the inside. I was cut vertically (called a classical incision) on the inside and can never deliver vaginally because the risk of rupture is too great.
