I feel so used!

My almost one year old, (11months old) is going through the "i want to independent from mama" phase-all he uses me for is to eat and to cuddle if he's had a nightmare...other than that nada...not even kisses at night or in the morning! makes me so sad. he does say "mama" when he's angry or "mama" when he's sad, but other than that it's "dada" and giving dada kisses playing with dada. i LOVE that they have an adorable relationship but hey...what about me? lol i miss my little monkey-do showing me love. did any of you go through this aswell?

Yep, no love for mommy anymore for me too. But daddy doesnt get any either. I still do get some kisses, and eskimo kisses on occasion, but no cuddles, all she does is squirm away. She doesnt want to play all the games I did when I hold her, she wants to play like a big girl and I am supposed to just watch and hold her toys for her lol. -sometimes- she will come sit in my lap for a fraction of a second, then shout and crawl away.  

I dont get Mama unless she is hurt, mad, or hungry.

We are having the same thing but with my daughter not wanting to spend time with her dad. He use to take care of her during the day but now he is going to school FT (he's in a phd program).

We were spending the week with some friends of ours that has a 2 1/2 yr old. She says that her son goes back and forth. It does hurt her when he wants his dado instead of her when he is sick or hurtbut she knows it's okay because it means that he's got a good relationship with his dad and will with her as well.

Just remember your son is happy and well taken care of that is all that is really needed.
