curious,

has anyone else found that if their baby is over tired it's harder to get them to sleep?
How long does you baby cry for when their being stuborn and over tired and fight to stay awake...?
What are some of your tricks to get your baby to sleep?

I've only recently started my baby girl, Grace, on a sleeping schedual (sp).
Shes getting better which I'm happy about.
But when I first started her on this sleeping schedual (sp) she would cry and cry and cry for an hour and a half straight, I knew it was an attention cry b'cos when ever I walked over to give her, her dummy (pasifier (sp)) she'd stop crying as soon as I went close to her.
Now if she's really crying she only does it for 20-30 mins 

Do you let her CIO?

yeah! jazmine is does that alot. cuz im the only one who puts her to sleep all the time. ray is at work most days (mil) so i have no choice. and since shes been sick alot i feel bad. shes also teething so it dosent really help. and jaz will cry for like 20 mins and then knock out. i usually console her by rocking her and singing her "this little light" and "you are my sunshine". and now im starting to tap her butt and just singing it. she seems to get uncomfortable lately

I don't live with my partner but his over as often as he can be, which isn't often, and I also have to put her to sleep myself all the time.. I find it so hard and i feel terrible, but I know its better for her in the long run.
I'll let her cry for about 5 mins, go check on her give her the dummy back then walk away, go back 10 mins later do the same thing and add 5 mins longer each time.. After a while she ends up exhausted and is out cold for a good while...

lol i did that and posted it up on baby gaga cuz i wasnt sure how long i was supposed to let her cry it out, and i got the most craziest thing ever. it was literally a big piece of literature, saying taht i was pretty much a bad mom becuz i did that. lol and then to add the sugar how it gives the baby mental issues or something like that! pft! lol my mom stopped bf me from one day to thje next, and she let me cry it out as well, and im fine! lol an dyou know whats crazy, that jazmine just stopped taking her paci. so im stressing it cuz her gums hurt so bad and i dont know what to give her to make her feel better

She's what 3 months? thats too young IMO! poor babie

IT IS bad,you're not even meant to let them CIO until 6 months+ babies cry for a REASON. 

Oh and just because you're fine doesnt mean jack,my best friend smoked pot right up until she had her son,he's fine but that doesnt mean every kid who is a weed babie is "fine"

It can't be bad for them b'cos my midwife tells me to let her cry it out other wise it'll be harder to get them to sleep... How does it give babies mental problems... I can't remember anything from when I was that age.. My mum did the same thing to me and I'm fine also. That sounds silly

It's not to young.. she's 2 and a half months old...
It's better to do it now so shes not constantly dependent on me and she's able to settle her self. I don't see how it's mean... She's the happiest baby I no.. always smiling and talking when shes awake cos she got all/enough sleep.
So she can't think I'm to mean, and she doesn't always cry when I put her to bed (even when i put her down fully awake) because she knows that means it's sleep time and puts herself to sleep...

Your midwife tells you to let her? she shouldnt even be a midwife.
