Quoting Mummy Olivia: Probably since 37-42 weeks ais considered full-term..it really depends on you I guess if you want to ... [snip!] ... and vacuum and all that stuff but as soon as I feel discmfort and pain, I stop and rest. Then up again. Makes me feel useful
Quoting Punkerella: that's one of the things that is getting to me is not feeling usefull..I mean w/ a baby so close to it's DD there is just so much to do!
Quoting no longer empty arms: I was on bedrest until the girls came at 38w 6days! Depends on why you are on bedrest if your Dr will let you off. As in, what your medical history looks like during the pregnancymy pregnancy has been pretty good w/ the exception of having GD and the pre-term labor problem....
Quoting ♥Samantha♥: I was put on strict bed rest at 34 weeks due to preterm labor. All my doctor wanted me to do was use ... [snip!] ... My friend was also put on strict bed rest at 33 weeks, but she did not follow her doctors orders and had her baby at 35 weeks.I've been trying to be very good about my bedrest even though it's super hard for me..it's just not my style..but, I do sorta hope that if they do take me off of bed rest that my baby decides to come a bit b4 her DD....
Quoting Nicole B: I havn't but I feel your pain. There's only so much onlne shopping you can do before the credit card ... [snip!] ... the credit card gets tired and cranky LOL I'm a shocker for that. Whenever I'm home by myself I always end up on ebay lol..my problem is amazon.com...
Quoting Punkerella: I'm going to be 37 weeks as of this thursday and have been on bedrest for several weeks due to pre-term ... [snip!] ... still and would really like a chance to do some things b4 my little girl comes ... Has anyone else been through this already?
Quoting *Wicked Mama*: As you know, my water broke at 20 weeks...they let me off bedrest at 36-37 weeks because it was okay ... [snip!] ... weeks or until I had an amnio done saying his lungs were ready. Just discuss your options. You never know what they wil lallow.thanks mama!!
Quoting Punkerella: thanks mama!! I hope they will let me off..but, w/ my GD I wonder if they will want me to go a few more weeks ... I sure hope not though..
Quoting *Wicked Mama*: Well, the reason they may want you to is because GD babies tend to have slower lung development. Which ... [snip!] ... my daughter and I'd never heard that. It wasn't until they wanted to induce me with Drake did they mention the possibility.see that's the other thing that sorta freaks me out is that I wonder if they keep stalling my labor or stopping it everytime I do go into labor if I will need to be induced eventually ..if that makes any sense..
