funny story && need help!

Okayy.. well I was in walmart today me my mom and Cerah I saw one of my friends up there with her son. Well we started talking and let the babies meet eachother.. well Cerah was bein nice and i thought okay this is going good. Then she growled at the little boy. I knew something was up but i corrected her and told her to be nice so she started playing with him again. He held her hand and we all thought it was so cute! I guess she must of thought something else and she got in his face and screamed at him. So mean she made him cry!

now for my needing help! Cerah was with my friend again and i was holding her because I know Cerah can be mean so we were showing her how Cerah's teeth were growing in. and she looked at her mouth and Cerah got close to her mouth and she slapped her in the face!! So how do i manage this? How do I get her to stop hitting people??

You can't.
She's to young to realize right from wrong,
Its a phase, she'll grow old and learn that that is a bad thing to do.
My daughter does it all the time , I just correct her and tell her that that hurts mommy and not to do it.

Thats about as far as you will get with that one.

How old is she? I would just hold her arm, look her in the eyes and say firmly.. "hitting is not nice, we do not hit our friends" And if she still keeps doing it you could always make a sort of "time out" like in the crib or something. My son is 14 months and it seems to be working with him..

she is 6 months.
and when i tell her no she will listen to me. But it seems even more that now she will hit and bite people all the time. With the biting we can tell her no and she will stop but she has broke glasses and laptops and she is mean i dont wanna say i dont know what to do. But i really dont

She's a baby .
There is nothing you can do.
You cannot punish a child that does not know better.

yeah i just wish there was some way i could help her but she seems to just be getting meaner by the day

Well it's hard because she is so young. I notice with my son that when we say "no" (which we still do anyways) that he tends to ignore it.. and he responds more when you look him in the eyes. There really isn't too much you could do right now.. because she wont understand. It's most likely just a phase..

Like I said , C is 7 and half months. I just tell her that hurts me , or I say ouch and tell her that it is mean to do that to mommy, She will eventually pick up , but it just doesnt happen overnight.

Phases are bad! I dont like them anymore lol thanks tho!

It's just a thing babies do , lol.
C hits EVERYTHING she smacks EVERYTHING and throws EVERYTHING!
There is nothing I can do but correct her and tell her its not good to do that stuff.

She's too young to realize. But they do grow out of it ,thank god.
