OMG a year gone already!

Hi there, my twins are going to be year old this week. Can you believe it? It seems like only yesterday I was wondering if they were ever going to sleep the night. Now they are both walking, in fact my little guy runs all over the place. They both have 5 teeth and are also learning to talk. Funny how they pick up on things so fast. My husband and I often tell our cat to 'shut up' (because he is one whinny fat cat)...anyway, it has become Deirdre's new words. For no rhyme or reason, she just blurts it out every now and then. And today I swear I heard her say Walmart...yeah...walmart...bleuh! She is the intellectual one and her brother Declan, well he's the athletic one. He does chin ups on the furniture...not one, not two, not even three...he usually does them in a sequence of 5. Yeah, my little one year old is doing an entire rep of chin ups. Humph...I don't think I could even do that.   Anyway, we are having a bbq for their first birthday and they will each get their own little chocolate cake. It'll be messy but the pictures and the laughter will be worth it.

wow...the first year seems to fly hey! my daughter will be 1 on july 19. It makes me quite sad to think about how fast she grew up...and how much I miss the newborn cuddles and stuff
