She almost died

My cousin went in yesterday morning to have her baby. She was being induced at 7am. The long labor took it's toll on her and she nearly died. Her BP went down to 40 and she was in and out of consciousness. She had her baby this morning at 7:40am by emergency c-section. 8lbs 8oz, Max Carl is his name. He is perfect in every way. My cousin could use some prayers though. She is doing better but she's still not "out of the woods" as her Dr put it. This is her 3rd baby. All boys.

You never really know how your labor will go, and those of us who have had smooth labors really should count our blessings.

I just said a prayer for her. I hope she is better soon!

wow, yes we should be greatful for what we have been given. i'm so sorry, i will keep her in my prayers. i wish them the best, those boys need her.

Thanks. I just can't even imagine .. my labor was so easy and I always took it for granted. I always just "assumed" that every labor could be easy. You don't really think about all the problems that can rise during it.

I believe it was pitocin but I'm not 100%. They could have changed their minds when she got there and done it another way. When I see her I will definitely ask her a bunch of questions though.
