gay and lesbian adoption

posted 24th Jun
I'm watching 30 days right now and it's a woman totally against gay and lesbian adoption living with a family of 4 boys raised by two guys.

How do you feel about it?
Should two males or two females raise a child and expect to get the same nuturing as a male and a female couple?

I'm totally for anyone adopting a child, as long as they fit the criteria of any straight couple adopting.

Please don't do any insults and turn this into the TDCas I realize there are lesbian and gay couples on here!

I think it is fine as long as the child has 2 loving parents!!

I don't see what the problem with being gay parents would be.

I don't think sexual orientation has anything to do with how well a person raises a child. I completely support it

I feel that as long and they provide properly for the child needs that there is no problem. Sure it is unconvential or what not but what family these days isnt. I think that we as people spend to much time judging someones lifestyle instead of worrying about whats important the childs welfare!

Love is love! If they can provide an emotional stable environment and a happy home for a child, why not!?

Like the woman on the show...some people think that a child need both a man and a woman to make a baby...more or less..normal. That the boys that are raised by the gay men she's staying with will be taught to be gay.

im not really sure how i feel about gays and lesbians in general, i mean i dont have anything against them, but i think that it is fine for them to adopt.
i would rather see children go to a home where they are wanted and loved rather then being lost in the system so to speak. and i think that they love them like their own and i dont have anything against that.

I agree!! Way back when, the conventional family was a mother, a father and 2 kids, now-a-days whose to say what's "conventional"? As long as the kid( s ) get the love and support they need to grow up, who cares who does it?

You cant teach someone to be gay. I guess thats just my belief. So how does the lady feel about single parent homes? Sometimes there is no father in the lives at all. I dont get it ppl will have something to say regardless.

How can you be taught to be gay? I believe it's something you are born with not taught.

If there are single Moms and single Dads raising children on their own then there is no difference with 2 women or 2 men raising a child as far as male and female role models go. Im perfectly fine with it, like others said, as long as its a nurturing home for a child to be in
