re: pitbull needs home or foster home- pic

Check out the humane society. Our humane society and animal shelter are 2 seperate intities(sp). The animal shelter kills ... the humane society here fosters them out until a perm home is found. The only time they kill in our humane society is if the animal is super sick and there is no chance to save it. I worked at a vets office here and we worked hand and hand with the humane society and they are FANTASTIC here!!! I saw them 1st hand spent over 1000.00 on just 1 dog to save it's life and they still only charged 45.00 to adopt it out to it's forever home. That dog is still doing fantastic and is so spoiled!

*edited to add I did NOT know myself that our animal shelter and humane society were different until I started working at the vets office ... blew my mind. I spread that word to all I knew and it was amazing how many others didn't know either! I miss working at the vets office and helping all those homeless animals, but am 100% more satisfied being home with my little miracle!
